The EBO Center is looking for volunteers to assist with tax filing for the 2024 tax season our tax clinics offered to residents of Ottawa with a low income.
Do you have a facility with administrative tasks?

Do you have personal tax filing experience?
Join the dynamic and growing EBO team for the 2023 tax season (February to April)!
During this time, you are free to volunteer according to your capacity and interests.
We are looking for volunteers for the following roles:
- Intake Volunteers: contact clients to gather information to file their tax returns.
- Tax Filer Volunteers: file simple personal income tax returns using the software provided (Profile).
- Multi-tasking Volunteers: collect information from clients and file their tax returns.

All volunteers will receive training on how the tax service works and how to use the software. Familiarity with personal income tax is an asset.

Our tax service relies on the support of volunteers year-round. The service is available to many residences in Ottawa and Eastern Ontario for the elderly, and special needs residents, as well as to low-income residents of Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.
